Fear the Walking Dead The Good Man

Madison and Travis start packing up their stuff and tell Alicia and Chris that they’re leaving, and driving East. Travis assures Chris that they’ll get his mom and Nick on their way out.

Over with Daniel, he wants to kill Adams. However, Adams tries to prove he is still useful, because he knows his way around the compound. Travis insists that Adams come with them. Madison says Adams will ride in the truck with Travis.

Daniel tells Ofelia that they’re going to get her mother, and that they’ll bring Adams with them. Ofelia is upset that her father has lied to her her whole life.

At the hospital, Dr. Exner radios for transport. She hears back that the transport is inbound and reports to the others that they’re moving to Edwards Air Force Base. Liza talks to Dr. Exner about who will be allowed to go. She agrees to take Chris and Travis only.

As Travis packs up the truck, Adams tries to convince Travis to set him free, knowing that he’ll end up dead otherwise.

The three vehicles set out. When they get to the gate, they see that the soldiers have abandoned it. Daniel operates the controls to open the gate.

Daniel strolls up to the hospital compound, and gets yelled at by a soldier. However, Daniel tells the soldier to save his ammunition. Not far behind Daniel is a horde of walkers, streaming from the Arena.

While the soldiers are distracted holding off the walkers, Daniel meets up with the group, which has gone into a nearby parking garage. Daniel is upset to see that Travis has let Adams go, but Travis says that Adams told him where to find the others. Madison agrees that it was the right thing to do, but Daniel warns Madison that she’ll see what “the right thing” gets you. Travis tells Chris that if they’re gone more than 30 minutes, to drive away. Chris reminds his father that he doesn’t drive yet, and Madison says Alicia can drive if it comes to that. Madison, Travis, Daniel and Ofelia head out to the compound.

In the holding cells, Nick and Strand hear gunshots. Strand tells him it’s time to go, and is worried to find that his key to the cell is gone. However, Nick shows him that he took it from him.

Up on the roof, Dr. Exner and Liza see what’s going on. The helicopter was about to land, but Dr. Exner tells Liza that the compound is compromised, and now evac knows it.

Travis and the others cut through the chain and get through a gate into the compound, while the soldiers are busy fending off the walker horde at the other gate.

Dr. Exner tries to assure the evac helicopter that it’s still safe to land, but it flies away. She tells Liza she’ll take care of the patients, and tells Liza to go.

In the parking garage, Alicia and Chris notice someone coming. They hide in the car.

Nick and Strand walk past the other cells without helping anyone. Nick asks where they’re going, and Strand says they need a ride, and then Abigail. Nick wonders who Abigail is.

A couple of soldiers break into the car and pull out Chris and Alicia, demanding the keys. Chris refuses, and says they’re not going anywhere. They start to go after Alicia, and Chris tries to defend her. Alicia hands over the keys, and then try to go after Alicia again. Chris steps in, but they punch him, knocking him out.

Liza goes outside to the transport trucks and sees the chaos. The walkers succeed in breaking through the fence and begin to eat soldiers. More of the fence falls, and the place begins to be overrun.

Nick and Strand try to find their way out, and come across a walker eating a soldier – the one that Strand gave his cuff links to. Strand digs in his pocket and takes the cuff links back, ignoring the soldier’s pleas to kill him. He also takes his gun.

Travis and the others find their way to the holding cells and look for Nick and Griselda. They start to let people out of the cells, and continue to look for Nick.

Meanwhile, Nick and Strand find themselves trapped behind a set of locked double doors, as a horde comes toward them. Strand shoots a few, but there’s still more coming. Madison and the others show up on the other side of the doors and try to get the doors open. It’s not working, and Nick tells his mom to go. Luckily, Liza runs up with her key card and is able to get the doors to open. They all run down a stairwell and find themselves in a kitchen.

They look around, and some walkers come out and attack. They fight back, and get to another area where they can lock the double doors behind them. As they try to find their way to safety, Liza breaks the bad news to Daniel and Ofelia about Griselda. Ofelia demands to see her mother, but Liza tells her there’s nothing left to see.

Liza leads everyone to where all the hospital beds are. They find Dr. Exner and ask for a way out. She tells them how to get out, but says there’s nowhere to go. Liza tries to convince her to come with them, but Dr. Exner seems to have lost hope, and stays behind.

Strand suggests to Madison they go West instead of East, as they had planned. He says he has a house on the water, where he has supplies.

The group exits the building and finds piles of burned bodies and ash.

They return to the parking garage and see that the car is gone. However, Alicia and Chris are safe. Just then, Adams comes out of nowhere and points his gun at Daniel. Ofelia tries to talk him down, and begs him not to do this. He shoots Ofelia. Travis pounces on Andy, pummeling him. Madison calls him off, telling Travis to leave him.

They take their two remaining vehicles and drive down the Los Angeles River basin toward the ocean, and make it to Strand’s house, which is nice and big, and seems safe.

Madison apologizes to Nick for letting them take him, and they have a nice talk as they look out at the ocean.

Liza assures Daniel that Ofelia will be fine.

Nick finds Strand packing up some stuff, and Strand says he must stay in constant motion. Nick asks if they can stay there, but Strand says no, that no one stays. Nick asks where Abigail is, and Strand says “not here.” Strand has Nick look through some binoculars and shows him that Abigail is a yacht.

Madison follows Liza down to the beach, where Liza reveals that she has been bitten. Liza takes out a gun, but says she doesn’t think she can do it. Madison doesn’t want Liza to ask her to do it, but Liza points out that Madison asked her to do the same. Liza echoes Madison’s words, saying not to ask Travis, that it’ll break him. Madison reluctantly takes the gun. Just then, Travis finds them. Madison explains that Liza is infected. Travis thinks they can treat it, but Liza says they can’t, and that she’s seen what this does. She explains that the bites don’t turn you, but the infection is not treatable. The infection kills you like anything else. It doesn’t matter how you die, everyone comes back. Liza makes Travis promise to protect Chris from this. Travis takes the gun from Madison.

The others up at the house hear the gun shot. Chris and Alicia run down to the beach.

Travis goes to the water and falls to his knees, in a daze.

Chris finds his mother’s body and cries over it.

Madison hugs Travis, comforting him, as he cries and the waves crash into them.
